Job description

Summary

Cushman & Wakefield provides real estate strategy and workplace and occupancy planning services that help clients optimize portfolios and make fact-based business decisions. The US & MEX Portfolio Planner will analyze portfolio data, develop strategic recommendations, support client presentations and planning activities, and collaborate with stakeholders across real estate and business functions. The role also supports scenario analyses, client delivery, project coordination, and location-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the client’s real estate portfolio and develop strategies and plans to achieve long-term operational and financial goals
  • Collaborate with the C&W platform, C&W service line functions, and with stakeholders within the client’s organization to develop the right solutions for our clients and to drive approval and implementation
  • Lead and facilitate meetings to obtain direction, alignment, and buy-in
  • Assist in efforts to leverage insights, collaboration and delivery to ensure that we are the industry leader in product innovation
  • Support client annual planning, budget development, and decisions
  • Provide summary analyses, write and coordinate engaging client reports and deliverables, manage quality control review of deliverables produced
  • Possess collaborative, inclusive, engaging, inquisitive, and creative demeanor
  • Gather, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, helping translate raw inputs into structured insights used in client decision making
  • Use AI tools to drive efficiency in data analysis and delivery, while remaining accountable for accuracy of outputs
  • Support analytical approaches, frameworks, and comparative analyses that evaluate current state conditions and explore future state scenarios
  • Synthesize information into clear summaries and draft content that supports client presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations
  • Participate in stakeholder focused activities, such as preparing materials for interviews, workshops, or feedback sessions under senior team member guidance
  • Support project coordination, including maintaining documentation, tracking inputs, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across work products
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions
  • Demonstrate foundational consulting behaviors, including structured problem solving, effective communication, attention to detail, and proactive task management
  • Synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, coherent insights, or draft deliverables
  • Adapt to evolving project needs, tools, and workflows while maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency

  • Assist with scenario-based and comparative analyses related to portfolio optimization, consolidation, expansion, or site selection initiatives
  • Analyze real estate, labor, and risk considerations using internal data and market insight to support location-based recommendations

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certification required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • **Bilingual Spanish-English required**
  • Foundational knowledge of consulting delivery models and strategy processes, including problem framing, scoping, and evidence-based recommendations
  • Experience analyzing and presenting data using Excel, PowerPoint, AI, and basic BI or visualization tools, translating analyses into clear, accurate, and decision‑ready narratives
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, data quality considerations, and limits of inference
  • Ability to collaborate within project teams, integrate feedback, and manage shared work effectively
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze defined problems and identify key assumptions or gaps
  • Basic project planning skills, including effort estimation, progress tracking, and risk identification
  • Ability to organize inputs into clear outlines, summaries, and coherent storylines
  • Strong background and proven experience with portfolio strategy / planning
  • Proficiency in finance and accounting concepts, as well as financial modeling, are essential for success in this position
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data, identify key information, and provide insightful recommendations to all levels within the organization with minimal direction
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
  • Superior understanding of business concepts and the ability to creatively apply these to varying client needs
  • Ability to influence and manage clients using superior relationship building, communication, and leadership skills
  • Quality engagement of clients, partners and prospects; maintain professional, positive, well-documented client communications
  • Applicable understanding of commercial real estate practices strongly preferred
