Summary
DAS Health provides healthcare IT and business solutions to healthcare organizations. The Account Manager II manages and grows healthcare client relationships, develops strategic account plans, supports renewals and retention, and identifies cross-sell and upsell opportunities. The role also uses CRM and business data to manage pipeline growth and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve client outcomes and account value.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of healthcare clients, building trusted relationships with practice leaders, operational stakeholders, and other decision-makers
- Develop strategic account plans that align client priorities with DAS Health’s services, strengthen satisfaction, and support long-term retention
- Understand each client’s business, technology environment, goals, and evolving needs to identify opportunities for added value
- Identify and advance cross-sell and upsell opportunities across recurring services, hardware, professional services, managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and other healthcare solutions
- Support renewals, negotiations, and expansion opportunities while balancing client needs with retention, revenue, and partnership goals
- Maintain accurate account, pipeline, forecast, and opportunity information, using CRM data and performance insights to prioritize growth opportunities and report progress
- Monitor account health, map key stakeholders, and proactively address relationship risks or changes in client priorities
- Partner with Customer Success and service-delivery teams to improve adoption, coordinate support, resolve client needs, and expand account value
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and Finance to align solutions, pricing, campaigns, client outcomes, and pipeline visibility
- Represent the client’s perspective internally, communicate clearly through issues and escalations, and help drive timely, accountable follow-through
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, revenue operations, growth, or a related client-facing function
- Demonstrated success growing existing client relationships through cross-selling, upselling, renewals, and strategic account development
- Experience building or applying scalable account plans, expansion playbooks, or client engagement programs in a B2B or managed services environment
- Strong relationship management, stakeholder communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use CRM and business data to identify opportunities, manage pipeline, and translate insights into action
- Ability to remain organized, professional, and responsive while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Ability to use, protect, and disclose patient protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards
- Experience in healthcare IT, a Managed Services Provider, or another B2B technology or services environment
- Experience supporting healthcare clients, including medical practices, physician groups, outpatient settings, or complex multi-site provider organizations
- Experience using CRM and analytics tools, including Salesforce or a comparable platform
- Experience tracking account health, monthly recurring revenue retention, expansion revenue, product penetration, and pipeline performance
- Experience partnering with Customer Success or service-delivery teams to improve adoption, resolve client needs, and expand account value
Qualifications
