Summary
Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Product Definition Intern to join their SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE Product Definition team in Waltham, MA. The intern will support the team with projects and day-to-day tasks, gaining an understanding of the software development process and enhancing their CAD skills.
Responsibilities
- Project-based part, assembly, and drawing creation
- Testing of projects ranging from modeling to simulation to data management
- Documenting issues noting where improvements can be made
- Reporting to the Product Definition team member responsible for the project
- Helping to coordinate user testing sessions both in-person and virtually
Skills
- A rising senior actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or other Engineering for the duration of the internship with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 /4.0 scale
- Demonstrable experience using SOLIDWORKS or other parametric CAD system
- Able to work onsite in the Waltham office with a hybrid schedule
- Self-motivated with polished interpersonal skills and maturity
- Highly organized, thorough, and precise
- Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office
- Experience with building and programming electro-mechanical systems is a plus
