Summary
PTC develops software that connects the physical and digital worlds to help companies improve operations and create better products. The Associate Engineer will manage support issues, configure and implement applications with a focus on Linux, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and support cloud tools and scheduled maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize issues of varying severity, and effectively manage the resolution or escalation of all issues within accepted service levels
- Application configuration and implementation with a heavy focus on Linux
- Manage cases efficiently within our ticketing system
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams to resolve issues
- Update managers and management team on ticket status as required
- Includes working with Cloud tools such as Apache, Tomcat, Zabbix, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SALT, SQLDeveloper, Apache Directory Studio, and VMWare
- Operating systems include Linux and Windows
- Must be available to work occasional nights and weekends to support after-hours configuration changes and scheduled monthly maintenance activities
