Job description

Summary

JTEC Consulting LLC is a Veteran-Owned Small Business focused on delivering solutions to clients in the Air Force and DOD. They are seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to provide system lifecycle support and work collaboratively on complex technical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a collaborative team supporting design, development, integration, and maintenance for complex technical systems
  • Ensure reliable operation to meet organizational requirements
  • Interact with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into efficient and effective system solutions
  • Apply analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution, and implement system improvements
  • Evaluate system performance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Coordinate with vendor partners, as required
  • Promote industry best practices to meet customer's requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline related to systems engineering such as computer science, physics, or math
  • 0-1 year of hands-on experience supporting the systems engineering lifecycle including: Design and development, Testing, Production, Deployment and distribution, Operation, Maintenance and support, Decommissioning
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teams
  • Must be self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic environment that offers stretch growth opportunities for continuous learning and development
