Summary
DIRECTV is redefining entertainment by delivering innovative products and services that improve how customers access content. The Content Intern will support content strategy, contracts and compliance, programming, or content development through research, data analysis, reporting, database and AI initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data, conduct benchmarking and research
- Build dashboards and deliver presentations
- Support cross-functional initiatives
- Assist with new database software implementation and AI integration
- Conduct data audits and support data migration
- Support reporting automation and data management, validation, and analysis activities, using relational databases, queries, APIs, or system integrations
- Review contracts and summarize key findings
- Analyze channel performance, marketing, and competition
- Support project management and reporting
- Assist with third-party authentication audits
- Deep dive analysis into programmer portfolios, offerings, synergies, sports rights, streaming cannibalization, etc
- Conceptualize new functionalities serving content engagement and discovery
- Competitive intelligence research and summarization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams launching live channels, to understand and improve processes

- * Nice to have: Familiarity and experience using Artificial Intelligence LLMs to do research, benchmarking, and / or analysis
