Job description

Summary

Diverse Lynx is hiring a UX Designer for a full-time role focused on developer-facing products and platform engineering tools. The role conducts user research, creates user-centered designs and prototypes, partners with product and engineering teams, and drives continuous improvements to developer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive and efficient experiences for developer-facing products and platform engineering tools
  • Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions with developers and engineering teams
  • Translate research findings and user needs into actionable UX improvements
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
  • Define and continuously improve information architecture across developer portals
  • Develop user journey maps and identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve developer productivity
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements and developer needs into compelling user experiences
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with high fidelity
  • Work within enterprise design systems and contribute new components or patterns where required
  • Ensure designs follow responsive design and accessibility standards
  • Review implemented experiences and provide design feedback to ensure consistency and quality
  • Analyze usage patterns, user feedback, and product metrics to identify opportunities for continuous UX improvement
  • Advocate for user-centered design and a consistent developer experience across platform products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize UX enhancements and deliver solutions aligned with business and user goals
