Salesforce Release Engineer

Summary

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing management consulting services to federal agencies and public-sector organizations. DIS is seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Release Engineer to manage and optimize release processes, oversee Salesforce CI/CD deployments, troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and ensure compliance and quality across VA OMEGA Salesforce environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the integrity and quality of software releases
• Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
• Debug and troubleshoot release-related issues
• Document and improve release processes and procedures
• Ensure adherence to release schedules and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases
• Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• * 2+ years of experience in release management or a similar role
• * Experience managing releases in an Agile environment
• * Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• * Knowledge of Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps best practices
• * Proficiency with Copado (Pipelines, User Stories, Back Promotions, Compliance Hub)
• * Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
• * Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
• * Familiarity with code quality tools (CodeScan, PMD)
• * Excellent organizational and communication skills
• * Frequently required to sit and work at desk/computer for extended periods of time of up to 8 hours a day
• * While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear
• * Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment
• * Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
• * Ability to learn new tasks
• * Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks independently
