Job description
Summary
e123 provides a SaaS insurtech platform used by life and health insurance clients for enrollment, policy administration, billing, and related back-office functions. The ColdFusion Application Developer will enhance and extend the core platform, develop integrations and functionality, fix bugs, and ensure solutions meet detailed client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Use ColdFusion and related technologies to code new enhancements and solutions as part of our core platform and related applications
- Test your own code and peer review code developed by your peers
- Adhere to OWASP principles for secure coding practices
- Follow the e123 Software Development Lifecyle
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Support to understand requirements and provide solutions that match those requirements
- Participate in all dev team group activities
Skills
- 2+ years of ColdFusion development experience
- Experience with related technologies: MS-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX
- Critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to proactively provide solutions
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving company and industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a SaaS, B2B environment is preferred, but not required
- College degree preferred
