Summary
Edmentum is a tech-enabled learning company focused on providing flexible learning environments and tools for educators and students. The Sales Development Representative will build the sales pipeline by engaging K-12 educators and districts, qualifying leads, supporting campaigns and demonstrations, and maintaining CRM records while partnering with the Field Sales team.
Responsibilities
- Drive outbound campaigns and engage prospective customers via email and phone
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the Field Sales team
- Promote and follow up on events and marketing campaigns
- Conduct virtual product demonstrations and support trial conversions
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and contribute to campaign reporting
- Stay informed on Edmentum’s offerings and the evolving K–12 landscape
Skills

- You have experience or strong foundational skills in consultative, solution-based selling, with the ability to translate customer needs into compelling outcomes
- You are familiar with Salesforce or a comparable CRM and are comfortable using virtual communication tools such as Zoom to connect and present effectively
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional phone presence and the ability to craft clear, engaging emails and presentations
- You are a fast learner who can absorb complex product and program details quickly and articulate instructional or technical concepts with clarity
- You are a self-starter who manages multiple priorities well, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong time management skills to your daily work
- You are collaborative by nature, with a track record of building productive cross-functional relationships and contributing to shared team goals
- You are coachable and growth-oriented, open to feedback, and motivated to continuously sharpen your craft
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You have 1-3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales, business, or a related field
- Experience in edtech or the K-12 space
