Accounting Coordinator

Summary

Elastic is a search AI company that provides cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability. The Accounting Coordinator will support day-to-day ledger activities, monthly close processes, account reconciliations, financial analysis, audits, and accounting workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform corporate month-end close activities including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
• Preparation of US and International intercompany journal entries, financial accruals, bank transactions and other journal entries
• Preparation of financial statement account flux analysis
• Produce ad-hoc reports, analysis, and special projects
• Assist with audit by providing supporting documents and answering procedural questions for auditors
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline accounting workflows, enhance data accuracy, and contribute to ongoing financial technology implementation projects

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory)
• * 2-3 years of professional, relevant experience
• * Experience with ERP systems (mandatory)
• * Intermediate Excel skills, (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
• * Experience with Sarbanes- Oxley compliance and internal controls
• * Team oriented personality
• * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• * Strong attention-to-detail
• * Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• * Priority will be given to candidates in Central US Time, Mountain US Time, and Pacific US Time
• * Experience with foreign currency and multiple international subsidiaries EMEA, APAC, NA, preferred
