Summary
EQT Corporation is an energy company whose Commodities Team analyzes markets, manages risk, and executes trades across its natural gas portfolio. The Commodities Trading Intern will support projects involving supply, demand, storage, and transportation fundamentals, provide analytical support, and present findings to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Work individually or as part of a team to assist with Commodities related projects and processes
- Provide analytical support for the Commodities department on a broad range of topics
- Interact with multiple levels of the organization
- Develop and present results of analysis to senior management
- Interest in energy markets and problem-solving
- Analytical and quantitative skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to grasp business concepts quickly and translate into technical solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders across the organization

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management or a related discipline
- Must have at least completed sophomore year at accredited 4-year degree program
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate
