Job description

Summary

First State Bank’s Treasury Management Department is responsible for providing excellent customer service and back-office support for First State Bank’s business-related products and services, such as, ACH Origination, Business Online Banking, Online Wires, ICS/CDARS, Merchant Services, Positive Pay, Public Funds, Remote Deposit Capture, and RemitPlus Services. This department is also responsible for the daily processing of Lockbox items.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a key point of contact for Treasury Management support, assisting customers and internal employees via phone and email, while also supporting issue resolution and service needs.
  2. Support onboarding and implementation of Treasury Management products and services, ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
  3. Process Treasury Management requests, cases, and transactions (including lockbox and payment services), while performing risk reviews, monitoring activity, and escalating complex or high-risk issues as needed.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Fraud, Deposit Operations, Credit Analysts) and officers to support product setup, approvals, risk management, internal audits, regulatory compliance efforts and vendor management.
  5. Prepare and maintain reports related to Treasury Management risk, operational activity, and board reporting; assist with internal audits, regulatory exams, policy updates, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with bank standards and industry regulations (e.g., NACHA).
  1. Provide additional support as needed, including in-person customer assistance, employee/customer training, presentations, community or business development activities, and ongoing merchant services and client support.
