Supply Chain Design Analyst

Summary

GAINS develops AI-powered supply chain decision and orchestration solutions for inventory-intensive industries. The Supply Chain Design Analyst will support senior consultants by analyzing data, designing end-to-end supply chain solutions, optimizing processes, evaluating technology integrations, and communicating recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify areas for improvement
• Utilize advanced modeling tools and software to simulate and optimize supply chain processes
• Collaborate with clients to understand their existing supply chain structures
• Develop comprehensive supply chain maps, identifying key touchpoints and potential bottlenecks
• Assist in designing and implementing streamlined supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Identify and recommend improvements to inventory management, demand planning, and procurement processes
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and performance
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate new technologies into existing supply chain systems
• Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and challenges
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively, building strong client relationships
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement within the consulting team
• Prepare comprehensive reports, documenting supply chain analysis, recommendations, and implementation plans
• Ensure that project documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts, principles, and best practices
• Familiarity with supply chain management software and technology solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Experience with supply chain optimization tools and software
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with supply chain processes
• Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
