Summary
Geospatial Consulting Group International, LLC (geo cgi) provides geospatial and mission-focused technology services. The Application Developer Intern will support the Digital, Technology, and Innovation department through Agentic AI implementations, web and database development, troubleshooting, cloud and platform administration, GIS-related initiatives, and other technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Shadow DTI staff on key initiatives in Agentic AI, application development, helpdesk support, security, and GIS analysis
- Meet with project managers on at least 3 geocgi contracts
- Virtually attend DTI standups and other key meetings for ongoing initiatives
- Help troubleshoot and solve issues users are having with applications
- Develop Agentic AI solutions for geocgi corporate staff related to IT and cloud operations, alerting and reporting, human resources management, or other key use cases that will advance the company’s mission
- Learn CoPilot Studio and other Agentic AI platforms used by geocgi
- Learn Power Platform administration and development
- Learn Azure cloud administration
- Collaborate with developers, GIS specialists, analysts, and system administrators to support mission requirements and implement solutions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of any ongoing technology solutions for the company

- Has an understanding of software development languages and concepts, DevOps, database concepts, AI / LLMs, strong attention to detail, and an interest in expanding their technical expertise within our core **geo**cgi team
- This position is a remote 6-month opportunity, but may require one trip to the Washington, DC-area to meet at geocgi HQ
- U.S. Citizen
- Have attained or currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Experience with software development languages, such as Python, Java, C#, etc
- Understanding of SQL databases and SQL programming
- Familiarity with software development IDEs, such Visual Studio
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate data and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, environment
