Job description
Summary
Global Channel Management is a technology company that specializes in various types of recruiting and staff augmentation. They are seeking a Mechanical Designer intern to assist in designing mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD applications.
Responsibilities
- Use NX to design mechanical parts and assemblies and create drawing
- Work with team to brainstorm ideas and select optimum design concept
- Work with internal model shop / buyers to procure prototype parts
- Install/assemble prototype parts for design validation
Skills
- Must be interning with AAS student in Mechanical Design/CAD (or similar)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with CAD applications (NX preferred)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, molding, forming, etc) a plus
Qualifications
