Web Developer

Summary

Golden State Warriors are looking for a developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on internal web application, which serves as the primary interface for the basketball operations team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features for our internal basketball operations web application
• Work with the application database to support new features and optimize queries
• Collaborate with data science and analytics staff to design intuitive interfaces for complex data
• Contribute to application architecture and code quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• 3+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience
• Strong React and TypeScript skills
• Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs
• Proficient across multiple front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with modern web development practices and tooling
• Writes clean, well-structured code and cares about maintainability
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners
• Ability to build positive working relationships with business partners and peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong passion and deep curiosity about sports and entertainment
• Next.js and mobile development experience a plus
• Experience building data-heavy dashboards or visualization tools a plus
• Experience with design systems or component libraries a plus
