Job description
Summary
GoldenHome International Inc. is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Engineer to support its cabinet manufacturing operations. The role focuses on improving production processes, optimizing efficiency, resolving manufacturing issues, supporting new product introduction, and ensuring consistent product quality and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes and work instructions
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost
- Work closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues
- Review and maintain BOMs, production drawings, specifications, and process documentation
- Support new product introduction and ensure products are ready for efficient production
- Troubleshoot production problems and implement practical corrective actions
- Assist with production planning, material requirements, tooling, and equipment selection
- Monitor production performance and recommend process improvements
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and safety standards
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machinery, and production systems
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in cabinet, woodworking, millwork, or furniture manufacturing
- Proficiency with CAD or manufacturing software is a plus
- Bilingual English/Mandarin is a huge plus
