Job description

Summary

GrapeTree Medical Staffing is an established healthcare staffing company seeking a Market Development Specialist to drive growth in a competitive staffing market. The role focuses on building and managing a pipeline, engaging healthcare decision-makers, securing new client agreements, and generating revenue through outbound sales.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline using a targeted list of primarily nursing homes and assisted living communities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data to ensure consistent pipeline progression
  • Connect with decision-makers to understand staffing needs and sell the value of GrapeTree Medical Staffing and our solutions
  • Secure new client agreements and drive revenue growth
  • Develop a client base in our new states (CO, MA, NC, SC, NJ, NY, AZ, VA)
  • Maintain high outbound activity (80+ calls per day)
  • Consistently close 1–2 new client agreements per week
  • Achieve a 65%+ opportunity rate from new client needs
  • Stay persistent, ask strong discovery questions, and confidently handle objections

Skills

  • Two years of prior sales experience + management of a book of business
  • Strong phone-based sales skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of healthcare staffing industry expereince preferred

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Two years of prior sales experience + management of a book of business
  • Strong phone-based sales skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Haves

  • One year of healthcare staffing industry expereince preferred
