Growth Operators is a consulting firm focused on empowering growth for clients in the finance and accounting sectors. They are seeking Accounting & Finance Consultants for interim or project-based positions to assist private equity-backed and privately held companies in navigating complex challenges and driving results.

Responsibilities

• Thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments and enjoy working on a variety of projects
• Help clients navigate their most complex challenges
• Work on interim or project-based positions
• Identify issues and find solutions through research and utilizing available resources
• Build rapport and gain trust with stakeholders in a short timeframe
• Work in a fast-paced collaborative environment with clients and internal teams
• Manage multiple priorities at once and meet deadlines
• Exercise good judgment and strong decision-making skills
• Demonstrate strong project management skills

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Typically, Associates have 4+ years of experience, Managers possess 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, Directors bring 10+ years of relevant expertise, and Senior Directors offer 15+ years of finance and accounting leadership and industry experience
• Experience with full-cycle accounting
• Some accounting/finance leadership / management experience commensurate with the client opportunities
• Ability to identify issues and find solutions through research and utilizing available resources
• High level proficiency in MS Excel and various ERP systems
• Strong analytical thinker with ability to see the big picture
• Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities at once and meet deadlines
• Strong decision-making skills with ability to exercise good judgment
• Enjoys working with multiple clients in a variety of industries, often simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment with clients and internal teams
• Ability to build rapport and gain trust with stakeholders in short timeframe
• Self-directed in their work
• Strong project management skills
• CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA
• Prior engagements in consulting or contract work
• Experience working with private equity-backed companies
• Background in mergers, acquisitions and integrations

Qualifications

Must Haves
