Summary
Humana is a healthcare company whose Transformation Office helps execute enterprise strategy and improve member, patient, provider, and associate experiences. The Transformation Strategy Consultant leads high-visibility workstreams, conducts industry analysis and research, develops financial and business models, manages stakeholders, and translates insights into executive-level recommendations and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Leads execution of one or more workstreams with limited support from team leadership
- Solves problems flexibly: able to effortlessly jump between quantitative analysis, qualitative research, stakeholder management, slide design, etc
- Delivers high-quality, data-backed deliverables with limited rework
- Translates insights into effective written communication, typically PowerPoint
- Develops trust-based relationships with business partners
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, requesting and acting upon coaching and feedback to accelerate professional development
- Program management experience on driving large-scale, transformational change programs
Skills
- Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in one of the following:
- Management consulting, with experience solving strategic and operational problems for large-scale businesses, OR
- Healthcare industry experience (payer, provider, or insurance preferred), with involvement in strategy, operations, or transformation efforts
- Demonstrable capabilities with quantitative analysis and research, stakeholder management, slide design executive communications in PowerPoint or Word formats
- Demonstrated ability to structure problems and develop business recommendations using hypothesis-driven thinking
- Experience supporting complex or cross-functional workstreams, with exposure to stakeholder-driven environments
- Ability to identify, structure, and solve business problems
- Healthcare / payer experience
- Project management experience
- Remote NY will be considered
