Job description

Summary

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization focused on helping bring new medicines and treatments to patients faster. The Configuration & QC Specialist I supports the setup and configuration of clinical trial laboratory databases, performs quality control and validation activities, investigates discrepancies, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Support the configuration and setup of clinical trial laboratory databases (LIMS)
  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Investigate and resolve configuration discrepancies
  • Partner with Project Managers, Setup Specialists, and Scientific Affairs teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support project deliverables
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in configuration, quality control, quality assurance, or data management
  • Experience in healthcare, clinical research, or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with validation, documentation, and quality processes
