Job description

Summary

Ikigai is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their team and drive data-driven decision-making. The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects and process improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and propose solutions
  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to implement system changes and enhancements
  • Conduct gap analysis, risk assessments, and workflow evaluations
  • Support Agile teams by writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and participating in sprint planning
  • Ensure compliance with business policies, industry standards, and best practices

Skills

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Workday)
  • Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, market research, or business intelligence
