Job description

Summary

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech-enabled, pediatrician-led medical group providing virtual-first and in-home care for children with special health care needs. The Data Scientist will develop machine learning and artificial intelligence models, analyze clinical and healthcare data, and deliver insights that support clinical outcomes, business strategy, and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into robust ML/AI models to improve clinical outcomes for children
  • Work with our Staff Data Scientist and cross functional teams to define requirements, optimize data collection, build data assets, and deliver insights on business strategy and patient care
  • Develop ML models incorporating clinical, claims, and social determinants of health (SDoH) data to drive actionable recommendations
  • Independently query Snowflake and prepare data for exploratory data analysis and modeling

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience, including proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong background in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methods
  • Ability to work with and present findings to non-technical staff across the organization
  • Experience working in a start-up or growth environment required
  • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, and/or Tableau
  • Healthcare experience preferred
