Infineon Technologies is a global leader in semiconductor solutions, focusing on power systems and IoT. They are seeking an Intern for Product Engineering to support various engineering activities, including product development, debugging, and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Support product engineering activities across new product development, sustaining engineering, and customer failure analysis (FA) initiatives
- Execute new product characterization and qualification activities to ensure performance and quality requirements are met
- Perform electrical debugging and root cause analysis to identify and resolve product issues
- Analyze engineering data and generate insights to support product development and continuous improvement efforts
- Work closely with Design Engineering (DE), Product Engineering (PE), and Test Engineering (TE) teams to execute project deliverables and resolve technical challenges
- Assist in investigating customer-reported issues and support failure analysis activities to drive timely resolution
Skills
- Pursuing or recently completed a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university
- Demonstrates a strong academic record and solid technical foundation
- Strong understanding of engineering, computer engineering, or computer science principles applicable to the role
- Willing and able to relocate to Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Available to work on-site, as this position is not eligible for remote work
- This internship is expected to last three months. At this time, there is no confirmed commitment from management for a permanent position following the internship
