Job description
Summary
Infojini Inc is a fast-growing IT consulting and services firm. They are seeking a Java Developer responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software solutions while ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions
- Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies
- Model, design and implement databases as necessary
- Develop software according to Amadeus Standards
- Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines
- Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product
- Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments
- Support the end user in the Production phase
- Design web application following User Experience (UX) principles
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3 to 8 years relevant experience developing Web software in particular on the server-side
- Familiar with client side development including: Java and Object Oriented Programming
- Java EE applications server such as Weblogic or Tomcat
- MVC framework such as Spring or STRUTS and JSP/JSTL
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong team player with collaborative mindset
- Comfortable in a multi-cultural, international organization
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1 to 5 years of experience developing Java web applications
- Experienced with client side development using: HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Knowledge of travel industry and related technologies a plus
- Agile experience preferred
