You can join a diverse, agile, full software development life-cycle team that supports Aviation Maintenance Readiness Reporting requirements for U.S. Navy activities worldwide. Your expert skills will directly contribute to this mission in many ways:We are seeking an inquisitive junior full stack software engineer. The ideal candidate enjoys working mostly on the front-end, but can also hold their own on the service layer and database tier. This person has a strong analytical mindset, communicates thoughts clearly, and is a passionate user advocate. S/he will be responsible for upgrading our current web application to support new feature requests, as well as maintaining existing features. Opportunities to migrate to new technologies may arise if the individual has the initiative and skill-set to make a significant impact on a large code base. The individual will be working on an application with complicated business rules and inter-dependencies, so being able to understand complex topics and break them down into small manageable parts is crucial.

Experience Required: 

• 1+ years development experience in HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• 1+ years development experience with a SPA framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc)
• - 1+ years development experience in object-oriented language (Java, C#, C++, etc).

In-depth understanding of:

•  Algorithms
•  Data structures
•  JavaScript

Desired Experience:

• General understanding of user experience.
• 1+ years experience working as part of a large development team.
• 1+ years experience working in a collaborative environment using agile/scrum development methodology
• 1+ years in database development

Education:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

*Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance Required, or the ability to obtain one*
