Network Engineer

Summary

Integris is a managed services company focused on secure, strategic, and scalable technology solutions. The Network Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure across client environments, while troubleshooting Cisco and Fortinet technologies and collaborating with security and internal teams. The role also contributes to network projects, documentation, service transitions, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet devices across client environments
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization
• Resolve complex network incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in network-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
• Participate in service transition activities with Professional Services

Skills

• • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience
• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• • 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in a managed services or service provider environment
• • Strong understanding of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and FortiOS
• • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service management practices
• • Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 4 or higher preferred
• • Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus
• • Experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS environments is a plus

Qualifications

Must Haves
