Summary
IP Recruiter Group is recruiting for a patent law opportunity within a well-established and growing practice. The Patent Attorney or Patent Agent will primarily prepare and prosecute patents, develop patent opinions and portfolio strategies, conduct due diligence, counsel clients, and potentially perform PTAB work, with a focus on software, electrical engineering, and telecommunications technologies.
Responsibilities
- Your work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents, patent opinions, patent portfolio strategy, due diligence, and client counseling, with the potential opportunity for PTAB work as well
- Here, your client assignment and responsibility will be commensurate with your interests and abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are important as client interaction and responsibility would progressively increase
- Here, you will need to have a strong technical background, as the emphasis is on efficiently providing quality work relating to complex patents and important patent families
- Your particular area of focus will be dependent upon your technical expertise

Skills
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics
- USPTO Patent Attorney
- A least 2 years of full time patent drafting and prosecution experience

- A least 2 years of full time patent drafting and prosecution experience
