Summary
Jacobs is an engineering and project services company focused on critical infrastructure, mission-critical outcomes, and data center projects. The Assistant Project Manager will support senior project managers with project management activities, including procurement, contracts, design and construction coordination, governance, quality control, and project turnover while developing toward a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining project governance, conducting field quality control of the craft trades at site, and ensuring successful project turnover
- Support ongoing Data Center projects in the United States
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects
- Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
- Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
