Bookkeeper (WFH)

Summary

kept.pro is an accounting services firm that provides accurate, timely, and complete financials to businesses. The Bookkeeper works remotely with a team of accounting professionals to support client accrual accounting, including transaction coding, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll preparation, and weekly and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Coding transactions, A/R, A/P, completing reconciliations, preparing payroll and other similar processes we complete on a weekly and month-end basis for each of our clients

Skills

• We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented team player looking to grow their career by becoming an expert in accrual accounting for clients between $5 - 50M
• A team-oriented person who comes to work to work?
• Accurate, precise, and thorough without being overly rigid?
• A subject matter expert with a continuous learning mindset?
• Driven by clear expectations and accountability - for both you and your teammates?
• Comfortable working within multiple technology platforms throughout the day?

• 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency working in QuickBooks Online
• Experience working in a remote environment with a distributed team
• Reside in a state we are established (Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota)
