Job description

Summary

Konecranes is a global provider of lifting equipment and services. The Data Integrity Specialist reviews requests and creates system data for production and purchase orders, including bills of materials, manufacturing routings, and cost analyses in SAP. The role collaborates with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Service, Order Entry, and Manufacturing teams in a production planning environment.

Responsibilities

  • With the help of Efecte, review requests from Engineering, In-side sales, Service and other groups to create System Data for Production orders and Purchase orders. Create and check BOMs, load manufacturing routings, review cost analysis in SAP. Person must work with other team members, Engineering, Order entry, In-side Sales, Purchasing, Service and Manufacturing groups
  • Daily, the new employee will have to take requests from multiple groups to set up parts in SAP application software to ensure on-time delivery to our customers
  • Create and update system data
  • Daily interface with employees
  • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings
  • Component research
  • Understand manufacturing processes for in-house components
  • Storage of obtained information for future use in SAP
  • Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
  • Handle constant change
  • Working in a production planning environment

Skills

  • College degree (preferred but not required) or equivalent work experience required
  • Must have basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Candidate will travel to Ohio and Wisconsin for initial orientation and training
  • Experience related to manufacturing practices and/or information technology is preferred
  • Prefer manufacturing experience in reading engineering drawings
  • Previous experience with these programs is preferred

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • College degree (preferred but not required) or equivalent work experience required
