Summary
Kopius is a technology company providing digital strategy, design, and engineering solutions. The UX UI Designer will design end-to-end experiences for web applications, data products, and AI assistants across multiple client engagements, while collaborating with clients and engineers, maintaining design systems, and conducting usability research.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design: discovery, IA, flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI
- Design AI experiences — conversational and agent flows, source attribution, confidence and uncertainty, human-in-the-loop review, graceful failure
- Build and maintain design systems and component libraries in Figma
- Facilitate workshops, journey mapping and concept sessions with clients in FigJam
- Run usability testing and lightweight research, and iterate on what it shows
- Design data-heavy interfaces — dashboards, reporting and admin surfaces
- Work with engineers on feasibility, handover and design QA; apply WCAG 2.1 AA from the start
- Support pre-sales with concept visuals and prototypes that make a solution tangible
Skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- 3+ years in product / UX / UI design, ideally agency or consulting with concurrent clients
- Expert in Figma and FigJam — components, variants, auto-layout, design systems
- Strong interaction and visual design across responsive web and application interfaces
- Demonstrated work designing for AI features — chat, assistants, search and retrieval, or generative flows
- Working understanding of front-end constraints (React component thinking) for clean handoff
- Experience designing complex data and dashboard interfaces; accessibility practice grounded in WCAG
- A portfolio of shipped product work, with the reasoning behind the decisions
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the engagement
