Summary
Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services and healthcare innovation. The company is seeking an Intern – Project Specialist to support its Denial Workflow and Automation Team by analyzing operational processes, managing SOP inventories, developing reporting solutions and automated workflows, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Observe and analyze denial operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) inventory management and validation activities
- Assist with developing and maintaining reporting solutions and automated workflows
- Analyze operational data and contribute to reporting, process improvement initiatives, and special projects
Skills
- * Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program
- * Working towards a degree in **Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.**
- * Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow billing procedures
- * Eagerness to learn new corporate billing and denial processes
- * Initiative and ability to work independently under general supervision
- * Genuine interest in corporate billing processes and reporting
- * Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
- * Strong written and verbal communication skills
- * Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly
- * Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or similar technologies
- * **Eligibility:** Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply
