Summary
Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Business Analytics and Automation Intern to support business analytics, automation, and data-driven process improvement initiatives. This internship provides an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on learning experience while working alongside professionals in a collaborative corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the analysis, validation, and organization of business and operational data
- Assist with the development of low-code and automation solutions to improve efficiency
- Contribute to dashboards, reports, and data visualizations used by stakeholders
- Identify data quality issues and assist with root-cause analysis
- Document processes, assumptions, and results in accordance with team standards
- Collaborate with team members in a professional, ethical, and inclusive work environment
Skills
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
- Fundamental knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to support coding and problem solving
- Ability to work a consistent schedule during the internship period
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Coursework or experience with SQL or relational databases
- Exposure to automation, scripting, or data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power Platform
- Familiarity with time-series data, forecasting concepts, or statistical analysis
- Interest in applied analytics, process improvement, or operational efficiency
- Exposure to machine learning or AI concepts through coursework or personal projects
