Job description

Summary

MasTec Industrial, part of MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure, delivers industrial infrastructure and construction services across North America. The Talent Acquisition Specialist I or II will manage full-cycle recruiting, partner with hiring managers, build talent pipelines, and support workforce planning for construction, operations, and support roles.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers as a trusted talent advisor, providing guidance on hiring strategies, candidate evaluation, and recruitment best practices
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across a variety of construction, operations, and support functions
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using networking, referrals, social media, job boards, talent communities, and other recruiting channels
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience while driving timely hiring decisions and results
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activities, and hiring documentation within the applicant tracking system
  • Identify opportunities to improve hiring processes, recruitment tools, and manager effectiveness through training and coaching
  • Support diversity, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action initiatives throughout the recruitment process
  • Participate in recruiting projects, hiring events, workforce planning activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives

Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year recruiting experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, and employment law compliance
  • Experience sourcing talent through job boards, social media, networking, and internet research
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative communication skills
  • Ability to influence, coach, and partner with hiring leaders
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Ability to build credibility with candidates, hiring teams, and senior leaders
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Skilled in sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, and talent attraction
  • Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based recruiting tools
  • Construction or related industry experience
  • With at least 1 year in construction
  • Experience with iCIMS or other applicant tracking systems
