Job description
Summary
MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA) is a federal government IT systems integrator committed to delivering solutions that solve mission challenges with agility, experience, and innovation. The Senior Testing Technician will be assigned to a testing and quality assurance team to perform testing of electro-mechanical equipment designed to process or augment the processing of mail for the United States Postal Service.
Responsibilities
- Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results
- Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for equipment testing
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under direct supervision
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Typically reports to a supervisor
Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Experience using MS Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and Access) and specialized software programs
- Candidate must be able to sit, stand and work at a computer for prolonged periods
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug test
- Experience in supporting the United States Postal Service (Operations or Maintenance) is desirable; but not mandatory
