In this role, you will work in a clinical research setting, observing and learning how clinical studies operate. Employee will be working in a clinical research setting whereby they will observer and learn how clinical studies operate.%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22background-color:white;color:black;font-family:%26quot;Arial%26quot;,sans-serif;%22%3E%3Cspan style=%22mso-bidi-font-weight:bold;%22%3ESeasonal Hires are a temporary status and therefore may not be employed for a period of more than four and ½ months.%26nbsp;These individuals may be hired either as full-time or part-time and must be a minimum age of 16 years.%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EPosition Key Accountabilities:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EScan study patient clinical charts into REDCAP databases.%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EInput study patient clinical information into excel databases.%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EFacilitate the transfer of biological specimens from the clinic to the laboratories.%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EBasic processing of biological specimens to prepare for the research staff to conduct their studies.%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EPrepare basic lab solutions and prepare lab setups for research staff.%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3EPerforms other duties as assigned.%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E

Certification/Skills:

• Exposure to Biology coursework at high school or college level, preferred. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word, preferred.

• Individuals must be a minimum age of 16 years. 
• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.

• None

Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds constantly to move objects. This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.
