Summary
Merative is seeking a Specialist, Data Quality to support the management and analysis of healthcare-related data. The role focuses on database updates, data validation, ETL processes, client collaboration, reporting, and producing high-quality analytically ready databases.
Responsibilities
- Process and update databases in alignment with client requirements
- Analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of HealthCare data
- In-depth understanding of database and information technologies
- Authenticate, extract/load data into databases using a proprietary toolset
- Perform data analysis and validate data for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with external data suppliers to resolve data quality issues
- Prepare and share professional status reports with external/internal clients
- Document process changes, update key information accurately and timely
- Build strong relationships to ensure a collaborative approach to solve problems
- Communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbal and written
- Strong communication skills with primarily U.S. based clients/colleagues
- Follow compliance and audit procedures
- Design/Create/Modify/Test ETL jobs for customer implementations
Skills
- Requires a minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or other science-related fields
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as, Azure etc
- Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and architecture best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytic, technical and communication skills
- Self-starter can do attitude and team player
