Job description
Summary
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a SkillBridge Intern for their Global Security group. The intern will train as an Information Warfare and Cryptologic Warfare Mission Technician, focusing on FURY Systems Operations and Maintenance principles while working closely with a mentor and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Train as an Information Warfare (IW) and Cryptologic Warfare (CRY) Mission Technician with HII-Mission Technologies
- Learn FURY Systems Operations and Maintenance principles, technologies, and core device functions
- Understand roles and responsibilities of working in a federated FURY system environment
- Be assigned special projects as needed
- At the end of three months, operate both fixed site and Mobile FURY systems, conduct maintenance, and coordinate and execute FURY EMW/IW training missions to Fleet consumers
- Develop an understanding of FURY technical documentation and project management
Skills
- Active-Duty Military ONLY within final 180 days of active-duty service
- Must have a current/active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Active-duty military experience supporting Information Warfare & Cryptologic Warfare operations in a Network Operations Center or Data Enterprise Center environments for the DoD
