Summary
Neural Strategic Solutions, Inc. is a professional staffing and solutions firm providing flexible and permanent staffing solutions. They are looking for Entry/Junior/Mid level ETL Testers to validate data transformations and integration in a data warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience as an ETL Tester or in a similar role, typically 2-5+ years
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS)
- Experience in testing data integration, data migration, and ETL processes in a data warehouse environment
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL querying
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data transformations and integration
- Knowledge of data quality concepts, data profiling, and data validation techniques
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks used in ETL testing
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation and validation tasks
- Understanding of the ETL lifecycle, including extraction of data from various sources, transformation according to business rules, and loading into data warehouses or data marts
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design principles
- Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
- Ability to perform end-to-end data validation and reconciliation across different systems
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing
