Traveling- Project Controls Specialist- MEP Division

Summary

NexGen Contracting, the self-perform arm of Gray, specializes in turnkey construction project scopes and is seeking a Project Cost Controls Specialist for its MEP Division. The role provides cost analysis, budgeting, financial forecasting, cost reporting, scheduling, and budget management support for concrete construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost controls on a project
• Monitor, evaluate and update project cost data on budgeted amounts
• Generate project progress charts and cost reports
• Support forecast of time and cost problems by offering trending information
• Develop and execute measurement systems to process, analyze and identify improvements
• Develop and update resource loaded construction schedules
• Verify scope changes and estimate costs by using contract terms

Skills

• Must have at least an Associate's degree from a two year college or university in Business or Engineering and at least one year of jobsite construction experience
• Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail applications
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Preferred experience with Primavera Scheduling Software

Qualifications
