Job description
Summary
Norstella is a market-leading pharmaceutical solutions organization that provides data-driven and AI-enabled insights to improve access to life-saving therapies. The Software Engineer will help build and evolve the Pulse Analytics platform, developing data-rich tools for pharmaceutical clients across the stack. The role involves building interfaces and market access features, architecting reusable front-end systems and APIs, solving stakeholder requirements, and contributing to AI and LLM-based tooling.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple product teams to build interfaces on top of our proprietary healthcare data sets
- Build and improve features across our suite of market access tools
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems and APIs
- Provide technical solutions that meet diverse stakeholder requirements
- Contribute to our growing use of AI and LLM-based tooling across our products and internal workflows
Skills
- • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- • Experience with Node and GraphQL
- • A strong sense of ownership over the solutions your team builds
- • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and collaborate across teams
- • A bias toward shipping and a desire for a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- • Strong problem-solving skills, comfort working through ambiguous problems, and a willingness to learn new technologies as needs evolve
- • Bachelor's Degree
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship or transfers. We are not currently accepting candidates who are on an OPT visa
- Candidates in the New York metro area are preferred
- • Experience with MongoDB, especially the aggregation framework
- • Exposure to AI/LLM tooling
- • Healthcare technology experience
