- Educational level typically acquired through the completion of high school and two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, IT Technician, or two years (4160 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement for Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 9

Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus: This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
- This position may work a hybrid schedule (remote 3 days per week/office 2 days per week). Selected candidates who work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan.

- Eligible employees with five years of service also receive annual longevity bonuses that grow as seniority increases.
