Summary
OCHIN, Inc. is seeking a Compensation Analyst to advance its compensation philosophy through market intelligence, compensation analysis, and workforce insights. The role administers compensation programs, conducts market benchmarking, supports compensation planning, advises leaders and People & Culture partners, and helps ensure compliance with pay regulations and organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain compensation programs, salary structures, pay ranges, and job evaluation processes
- Support annual compensation planning activities, including merit, market, and promotional increase reviews
- Partner with leaders to evaluate compensation recommendations and ensure alignment with compensation philosophy and budget guidelines
- Assist with spot awards, bonus program administration, and other recognition programs
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation surveys and external labor market data
- Analyze market competitiveness and provide recommendations regarding pay positioning
- Support development and maintenance of salary ranges and compensation structures
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local pay regulations
- Assist with audits and compensation-related reporting requirements
- Maintain compensation documentation, procedures, and governance practices
- Serve as a trusted advisor to People & Culture partners and business leaders regarding compensation matters
- Provide guidance on job evaluations, internal equity considerations, and compensation practices
- Support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives through compensation analysis
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with compensation surveys and market-pricing methodologies
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- 3+ years of compensation related experience is strongly preferred
- Experience conducting market pricing and compensation analysis is strongly preferred
- Experience with Pave.com or Salary.com market analysis tools strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS and reporting platforms preferred
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred
