Summary
ONIQ is building a new software category for the next generation of manufacturing operations. The Intern Customer Growth role involves supporting international manufacturing companies in enhancing their production operations through ONIQ software, while collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Responsibilities
- Support customers throughout their journey with ONIQ – from the initial software demo and pilot phase to implementation and roll-out
- Help prepare and coordinate onboarding materials, workshops, and check-ins, so that customers can get the most value out of the ONIQ software
- Contribute to strong customer relationships by tracking action items, following up on open questions, and supporting clear communication
- Develop an understanding of production processes and customer challenges, and use it to identify how ONIQ can create measurable value for the customer
- Support customer-facing activities such as demos, workshops, or industry events
- Support product development by collecting and structuring customer feedback for our Product team
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Genuine interest in manufacturing, lean production, or industrial technology, and motivation to help industrial companies work more efficiently and sustainably
- Available for a six-month internship
- Hands-on, pragmatic working style and ability to make progress in a fast-moving, agile environment
- Clear communication skills and enjoyment in interacting with customers
- Ability to structure information and turn discussions into concrete follow-up actions with support from experienced colleagues
- Excellent language skills in both German and English (C1 level or higher)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, workshops, or industry events
- Willingness to spend time at the Cologne office, with a minimum of one on-site day per week
- Initial exposure to production environments, customer-facing roles, or SaaS products through studies, internships, or projects
- Shorter internships may be possible depending on availability and experience
