Job description

Summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is a growing organization that supports career development through a promote-from-within philosophy. The Learning & Development Coordinator will support the assigned department by performing administrative tasks, serving as a point of contact, and coordinating communications, records, scheduling, and office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information
  • Perform clerical duties, take memos and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc
  • Maintain office inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Compose and edit e-mails, draft memos, and prepare charts, graphs, business plans, presentations, and other communications on behalf of the department
  • Distribute incoming communications such as department mail, packages, etc
  • Organize and maintain files and correspondence
  • Maintain proficiency with internal software systems
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records
  • Oversee department calendar and coordinate daily scheduling of internal and external meetings
  • Assist in telephone coverage for the department as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in a related position or corporate environment
