They are seeking a Temporary IT Applications Deployment Intern to assist with the technical support of software applications, testing, and troubleshooting, along with coordinating special applications projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist the technical support of software applications
- Testing, documenting and trouble-shooting applications, and imaging desktops
- Support in modifying and trouble-shooting the desktop imaging process for Windows and Mac machines with a focus on Macs
- Assisting in the creation of software packages using tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager/Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Support in maintaining SQL Server databases by running basic queries, reviewing data for accuracy, and assisting with routine database-related tasks
- Communicating and collaborating with customers and teams across the firm
- Coordinating special applications projects and initiatives
Skills
- Proficient with desktop operating systems including current Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of networking concepts, database concepts (SQL Server) and basic scripting and/or programming
- Cloud based (SaaS) understanding and support
- Use of AI Tools and prompt writing
- Low code/no code solutions like Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps
- Good writing and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multitask priorities
- Approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
- Student in an information technology or related associate's or bachelor's degree program
