PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy is the nation’s largest rare disease pharmacy, focused on delivering high-quality outcomes and patient care. The Financial Data Analyst transforms financial data into actionable business insights by developing models and reporting solutions, analyzing trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity, reporting efficiency, and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT, Accounting, Controlling, and cross-functional teams to gather, validate, reconcile, and analyze financial data across the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and financial systems. Perform root cause analysis, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and analytics
- Utilize SQL, Databricks, and other data platforms to extract, transform, analyze, and validate financial data from multiple sources
- Leverage Power BI and other analytical tools to develop dashboards, visualizations, and scalable reporting solutions that transform complex financial data into actionable insights. Identifies opportunities to automate and streamline reporting and analytical processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Assists in the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Assists in developing and maintaining financial models and tools to support business performance and decision-making
- Conducts comprehensive financial analysis, identifies trends, and provides strategic insights to senior management
- Provides insightful analysis regarding period over period and actual vs. forecast performance; continually improves and manages variance analyses reporting
- Monitors key financial metrics, proactively identifies areas of concern, and recommends appropriate actions
- Develops a deep understanding of business drivers at both the product and overall enterprise levels
- Plays a key role in supporting growth, efficiency and value-maximizing initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial planning and analysis or similar role
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, such as Excel, and experience working with financial planning software
- Self-starter who can deliver in a dynamic environment under tight timelines and changing priorities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights
- A proven ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a simple manner
- High sense of accountability and urgency
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience within the specialty pharmacy or a related healthcare field
