Job description

Summary

Paylocity is an award-winning provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions for the modern workforce. The Implementation Analyst I supports partner integrations by configuring systems, coordinating data transfers and testing, reviewing interface setups, and collaborating with clients and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze business requirements for data transfers between Paylocity customers and existing, external partners
  • Configure Paylocity systems for data import and export to meet requirements
  • Coordinate with clients and external partners on data reviews, testing and project status
  • Manage test scripts, file delivery dates and client/vendor milestones for data transfers
  • Review and audit interface setups for accuracy and adherence to requirements
  • Creating, refining and deploying new procedures or processes
  • Creating and presenting training to internal and/or external teams
  • Owning special projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinating and monitoring project work amongst teammates as it pertains to projects you are leading
  • Configure Paylocity customers for data transfers to existing partners
  • Review new configurations, explain technical and non-technical details to customers, and participate in setup reviews with both customers and external partners
  • Research file transmissions and payroll data to respond to inquiries from customers, external partners, and internal staff

Skills

  • This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements
  • You must be available five days per week during designated work hours
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role is required
  • Ability to demonstrate prior ability or an ability and willingness to learn SQL
  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously
  • Prior experience in the Partner Integration team is a strong plus
  • Prior experience with Payroll and/or Retirement Plans is a strong plus
  • Prior experience dealing with financial concepts a plus
  • Knowledge of data retrieval from a relational database (such as Access) is a strong plus; the majority of daily work duties involve the retrieval and modification of data from relational databases
  • Prior work experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment is a strong plus
